After spending several years working as water damage restoration technicians, Korene and Darin Sturtz founded Advanced Emergency Services in 2003.
Fully IICRC certified, the AES team is trained in water damage restoration, applied structural drying, odor control, and fire and smoke restoration using the Unsmoke system. The team is also certified in Mold Remediation, Clandestine Drug Lab Decontamination, Crime and Trauma Scene Clean-up, and Bloodborne Pathogen Clean-up as part of the American Bio-Recovery Association.
AES consists of five divisions of technician crews: water, fire and smoke, mold, meth lab and bio-recovery, and commercial office cleaning. Their 3,200 square-foot Quad City area location includes climate-controlled decontamination workrooms for off-site content cleaning. AES is also currently updating its insurance estimator training to become certified as a preferred contractor for many major insurance companies.
